The Second Exclusive Tea Train of Sichuan Hua Yi Tea Company to Central Asia

On November 20, 2021, 1,300 tons of Sichuan tea with a value of 4.1 million US dollars set off from Chengdu International Railway Port and set off for Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This is the second Sichuan tea export train to Central Asia this year.

In order to actively respond to the continuous impact of the epidemic on foreign trade channels, support our province's green tea to deeply cultivate the Central Asian market, and encourage export enterprises represented by Huayi Tea Industry to go out as a group. With the strong support of the provincial government, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, The railway department and all relevant units worked together to facilitate the launch of this special tea train, which effectively solved the inventory pressure of export tea companies.

In this special train, 15 containers of 360 tons of Maofeng are exported to Central Asia for the first time, and it is also a zero breakthrough in the export of famous Maofeng products to the Central Asian market.

It is reported that this batch of green tea was exported by Huayi Tea Industry Co., Ltd., which is one of the first batch of national-level high-quality development bases for international agricultural trade recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It has 2,640 acres of European standard tea gardens, 13,400 acres of tea export planting record bases, two primary production workshops with a daily processing capacity of 80,000 kilograms of fresh tea leaves and a refining workshop with a daily processing of 40,000 kilograms of dried hair tea. This year, Huayi Tea has exported nearly 4,000 tons of green tea with a value of over 6 million US dollars, which has played a positive role in leading the export of Sichuan tea.
